Laureline is a peasant girl the Middle Ages who becomes a Spatio-Temporal Agent, and partner of Valérian.
Biography[]

Laureline was born in 11th Century France, in the Forest of Arelaune. She rescued Valérian from enchanted plants that had trapped him. Once she realizes he is a time-traveller, Valerian is forced to bring her on his mission to find and defeat the villainous time traveler and former Galaxity technocrat Xombul.
To protect the timeline, Valerian is forced to take Laureline to the 28th Century where Xombul has fled to. Once Xombul is defeated, Laureline is trained as a Spatio-Temporal Agent and becomes Valerian's partner.[1]
